Overview

GS was formed to service the financing needs of existing clients of Chesterfield Faring Ltd. (CFL). CFL is a sponsor, founder, and an investor in GS. CFL recognized that a "captive" lender was required to service its clients in a timely manner.

CFL is the sole correspondent and underwriter for GS. This provides the analytical support on every GS loan request minimizing borrower's costs and closing time.

CFL has a CRE loan restructuring business that feeds the GS deal pipeline. CFL restructures and recapitalizes overleveraged debt situations obtaining optimal financing.

Many of the recapitalized loans are then available to GS as deal flow to provide exclusive CRE bridge, mezzanine, and preferred equity loans.

Principals

Lawrence J. Selevan

Executive Chairman

Lawrence J. Selevan is a founding partner and the Executive Chairman of Greenstake Corporation ("GS"). He has a career spanning three decades focused in the commercial real estate ("CRE") lending industry. During his career, he has executed and/or advised clients regarding over 500 transactions in excess of $8 billion in various different capacities.

He is the current CEO of Chesterfield Faring Ltd. ("CFL"), a Midtown Manhattan based private CRE investment banking concern. CFL is the sole correspondent to GS. Previously, he is the former Chairman and CEO of Garrick Aug Associates Store Leasing Inc., the former Director of Fund Management for Sumitomo Real Estate, a former Managing Director at Fieldstone, Inc. and the former CEO of Asian American Capital Partners, Ltd.

Jeffrey Finn

Chief Executive Officer

Jeffrey M. Finn is a founding partner of GS. Prior to forming GS, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of NAI Global ("NAI"). NAI is one of the world's leading network of commercial real estate brokerage firms. Jeff was one of the founders of NAI. Over the past decade, he lead NAI to a position of industry prominence.

During his tenure he lead the company's branding, technology and globalization strategies which led to expansion into 55 countries, earning REALComm's "Digital Impact Award" for real estate technology twice, and being recognized as the 4th most recognized brand in the industry. He has represented major clients including Bank of New York/Mellon, Prudential, BP Amoco, Air Products & Chemicals, The United States Postal Service, Hertz and WorldCom - MCI.

Jeff is a licensed Real Estate Broker. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Management. He was a founding member and past advisory board member of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Real Estate Center and is a trustee of Peddie School and the Norma Finn Memorial Foundation. Jeff is also a founding partner of Pavonis Group.

Robyn Stern

Chief Lending Officer

Ms. Stern acts as a principal and Chief Lending Officer at Greenstake Corporation. She leads GSC’s origination, underwriting, structuring and execution efforts.

Ms. Stern has more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience, including complex domestic and international financings, workouts, asset management and advisory services. Prior to joining CFL, Ms. Stern held senior positions at several private real estate finance and management companies, including Urban America Advisors, LLC., as Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance Services; Crown Northcorp, Inc. as Executive Vice President and U.S. Chief Credit Officer; and, Arbor Realty Trust as Head of Asset Management. She has also held positions at several large banks, including Chemical Bank, CIBC and Shearson Lehman Bros., managing overall about $3 billion in real estate and structured finance transactions. Ms Stern was also Regional Director - Structured Finance at Ernst & Young and started her career as an attorney at Rosenman & Colin, LLP. Ms. Stern holds a B.A. from Binghamton University, a J.D from Emory University School of Law and an L.L.M. from New York University School of Law.

Peter L. Ruggiero

Member of the Board of Directors, Investment Committee

Peter L. Ruggiero is a Member of the Board of Directors. He serves on the Investment Committee along with Jeff Finn and Lawrence J. Selevan. He has a career spanning over three decades focused in the commercial real estate investment ("CRE") industry and making principal investments in core assets. During his career, he has executed over $6 billion in transactions.

He is a former Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee for NAI Global in charge of their capital markets efforts, a former Managing Director for Colliers Capital Markets Group growing a nationwide debt/equity platform, former head of dispositions for the real estate group of Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI), and a former SVP for Penn Mutual Insurance Company with oversight of their CRE portfolio of debt and equity investments. He holds a real estate license in New Jersey. His education includes a MBA from the University of Arizona in International Management plus a BA liberal arts degree from Rutgers University.
